shipment to the troops.  A special thanks to the Yellow Ribbon Girls for helping

us with this awesome donation.

Many greeting cards are being packed into the boxes for the troops including

the National Cherry Bloosom Festivalpostcard. 

 Thank you also to State Farm for your support to our program

What more can you say then, THANK YOU to a wonderful group that shows

up each and every time to make the packages for the troops.  And a special thank

you to Straub Brewery for the use of their truck to haul the packages to the postoffice

and St Marys Box Company for the boxes that we use to ship our packages in.

Donation from St Marys Police Department given to Letters from Home Program to help with our ever rising

 shipping costs was presented at the Cheer For A Soldier Program on December 15, 2007

Cheer for A Soldier was held at St Marys Area High School and was a hugh success of pride.

Johnsonburg Area Elementary Faculty and Support Staff in Johnsonburg PA held a Jeans day on Friday March 23, 2007 with each person donating $5.00  to help out with the Letters from Home program. 

They are helping the spring campaign "Show us Your True Colors 2007" with this donation to help out with postage or supplies for our troops.

Girl Scout Cookies are on their way to the troops on April 29, 2007

Girl Scout Troops all over the USA have collected Flat Stanley and Stacie Projects to send to the troops and also many, many of their famous cookies have arrived to put in the troops packages. What soldier wouldn't enjoy receiving a box of Girl Scout cookies?   Thank you to Kate Hein, Troop Leader of Brownie Troop # 394 and 443 of Morristown, NJ for this awesome picture of the fun they had making their project for the men/women serving our great nation.

 

Thank you all for getting involved in the Letters from Home Program... the spirit we have seen nationwide in response to our program of support to the troops has been overwhelming...Thank you everyone who has sent in things to be sent on to the men/women serving our country.  We are proud to make this our mission.

 

 

 


      
The Weyerhaeuser Company Foundation presented a variety of area organizations with checks to fund the needs of each cause Wednesday in Johnsonburg. The foundation, Making Waves Program, presented a check to the Letters From Home program.
